Quick Play Reboot Now Available!
Quick Play Baseball has been significantly upgraded. The game now includes the classic quick play version, a medium play version, and a full play version. Three game styles in one!
The baseline components of the game are the same as before: situation cards and a standard deck of cards. New to the game are rare/unusual plays, special plays chart, and a play by play chart. Watch the video to the right to check out what's new in Quick Play Baseball.
Players Rated for Each Play Mode
Each player is rated for the quick, medium, and full play games. You also have access to their stats by season--hitters and pitchers. When you purchase an era you get every batter with at least 30 plate appearances and every pitcher that got into a game.
Updated Situation Cards
The Quick Play situation cards are at the heart of the quick and medium play versions. They have all been updated to include the plays that happened up to that moment. This allows gamers to play out the quick or medium play games. Using advanced stats, the situation cards include a proper mix of each base-out situation per game giving you accurate but varied game outcomes.
Playing Card Game Engine
Quick Play Baseball's game engine is a simple deck of playing cards. Face cards are different types of hits and, combined with the situation cards, create scoring opportunities. But just because a player gets a hit doesn't mean a run will score. It's all in the cards.
